Brass Durham International Festival The BBC Big Band at Gala Theatre

The internationally-acclaimed band and conductor Barry Forgie celebrate the music of the great swing bands including Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman. Widely regarded as one of the world’s most versatile orchestras, they have played with stars such as Van Morrison, Tony Bennett and Ray Charles and are best known for appearances on BBC Radio’s Big Band Special and Jazz Line Up.
