BBC at the Quay is a 16-day pop-up festival beside the River Clyde to celebrate the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. From Saturday 19 July to Sunday 3 August the site, outside BBC Scotland’s headquarters at Pacific Quay, will host live television and radio shows, music, comedy, interactive activities, food and drink and entertainment for all the family.

Highlights will include:
Live broadcasts by The One Show, Ken Bruce, Woman’s Hour, MacAulay and Co, Radio 1, 1Xtra, Radio 3 and Radio 5 live.

Live music from Texas, Simple Minds, Paloma Faith, Amy Macdonald, The BBC Big Band with Maceo Parker, The Radiophonic Workshop, Raghu Dixit, Tigerstyle, Steve Earle, Sharon Shannon, Karen Matheson and Dàimh.

Stage shows of A Question of Sport, Mastermind, Watson’s Wind-Up and CBBC and CBeebies favourites.

Exclusive interviews with stars such as Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill from Still Game and Olympic and World Champion track cyclist Chris Hoy.

There will also be a giant screen where you will be able to watch the best of the sporting action from the Games – as well as the Opening and Closing Ceremonies – and a tempting array of food and drink will be available on site.

The event is free and some shows will be ticketed. BBC at the Quay is an event for all the family but children under the age of 16 will not be admitted without an accompanying adult. Some events may also have a minimum age limit.
